Sobre Hans Stenström

Hans Stenström was born in 1976 in the north of Sweden and is currently living and working in Luleå as an artist. Schooled at the Sunderby art school in both two- and three dimensional art. As an artist he likes to work with lines and graphical shapes together with vibrant colours - much of that you can also find in his designs. He is fascinated by the place where feelings and ideas clash, where the raw and fickle meets the graphical, where the expected meets the unexpected.

For this years design "Palette" he has been inspired by one of his own art pieces depicting three painters sitting around a table at a café.

Jag föddes 1976 i norra Sverige och bor och verkar som konstnär i Luleå. Utbildad vid Sunderby konstskola i både två- och tredimensionell konst. Som konstnär gillar jag att arbeta med linjer och grafiska former tillsammans med starka färger. Fascinerad av möten mellan känslor och idéer, mellan det råa, nyckfulla och det grafiska, mellan det väntade och det oväntade.

Till årets design - "Palette" - har jag låtit mig inspireras av ett av mina egna konstverk föreställande tre målare som sitter runt ett bord på ett café.
