The design inspired from a simple paper folding fan. The shape established a strong floral feeling in my mind that led me to create a floral design that saved the geometrical, clean, simple and minimalistic qualities of the paper folding.

העיצוב נערך בהשראת קיפולי נייר פשוטים המדמים צורת מניפה. צורת הקיפול ואופייה עוררו בי אסוציאציה של פריחה ועל כן התגבשה המחשבה לייצר מוטיב פרחוני בהשראת קיפולי נייר, תוך שמירה על קווים פשוטים, נקיים ומינימליסטיים.

Sobre Reut Ben Yehuda

Tel-Aviv based textile & surface designer Reut Ben Yehuda values and believes in the process of making. She was born in Tel Aviv, Israel in 1984, and has a degree in Textile Design from SHENKAR- COLLAGE OF ENGINEERING & DESIGN. She works in a variety of mediums, ranging from drawing, digital and collage and inspired from the amazing urban & natural landscape around us.

רעות בן יהודה, מעצבת טקסטיל הפועלת בתל-אביב, מעריכה ומאמינה בתהליך היצירה. נולדה בשנת 1984 בתל-אביב, ישראל ובעלת תואר בעיצוב טקסטיל מטעם מכללת שנקר לעיצוב והנדסה. העיצובים והתבניות (patterns) נעשים על ידה בהשראת העולם המשתקף מסביבנו, הן האורבני והן הטבעי, ומבוססים על טכניקות מגוונות כמו ציור ורישום ידני, תבניות דיגטליות, קולג'ים וכיו"ב.
