Sobre Bengt Bix Biederbeck

I was born in Sweden from German parents - an architect father and scientist mother.Educated in Sweden and lived in Stockholm and Paris before moving to New York 25 years ago. Work experience as art director, graphic and exhibit designer as well as in interior design which led to designs of custom carpets. Passionate collector and admirer of Scandinavian design, especially carpets from the 30's - 60's which influence and inspire my own patterns and choice of colors.

Fodd och uppvuxen i Sverige, son till Tyska foraldrar; arkitekt och forskare. Utbildad i Sverige och bodde i Stockholm och Paris innan jag flyttade till New York for 25 ar sedan. Verksam som Art Director, grafisk formgivare och utstallnings designer samt inredningsdesigner har lett till bland annat formgivning av privat bestallda mattor. Passionerad samlare / beundrare av Skandinavisk design fran 30-60-talet, vilket har inspirerat bade mönster och fargstallning av mina egna mattor.
